WebI decided to drill the cover so that the spring can slide through it and the bed will sit closer to level when all four corners are adjusted the same. I'd be surprised if I was the first to do this, and it's not like you can't level the bed without doing this, but I felt better after knowing all four corners were on a level playing field. Cheers! It will burn out and catch fire on 24volts. Most simply replace the polyfuse with a thick wire. Then wire in a 24v fuse with a inline fuse holder on the heated bed cables.

WebIf you're going to wire the 24V supply to 12V inputs, you'll end up pumping 15-16 amps into the bed. While it will make the bed heat up a lot faster, you're pushing close to 400 watts of power onto the bed. If I were you, I'd check whether the wiring and the connectors can tolerate the current.
