WebOriginally I had an OFT UEL Header > Perrin 2.5 Catted front pipe > Perrin 2.5 Resonated and the car would shake the walls on startup since it was so deep. That was a "loud" setup. When I go to a track with sound limits, I keep the UEL OFT header, but use OEM front pipe and cat back. This is barely louder than stock. WebUEL vs EL: UEL headers usually give a lower sound profile (or so called subaru rumble) but not all of them are able to produce a clear rumbling sound. (You can find many examples of header/catback combos) In some rare cases the unequal lenght causes heat distribution problems and wear out 2 of your cylinders faster.
