Our Recovery Coaches are skilled professionals who meet with patients admitted to an ED as a result of an opioid overdose or other drug or alcohol-related crisis. WebAdmission & Program Requirements Students must be 16 years of age or older by the end of the course to become certified as an EMT by the State of Connecticut and National Registry of EMTs (NREMT). Students convicted of a felony may not be eligible for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.
