Car difficult to start after filling with gas
Jun 21, 2016 · Web2003 Sonata v-6, 130,000 miles. Occasionally engine will crank and not turn over. Most often after i fill it up with gas, but sometimes it happens when i am just trying to start the car at other times. Oxygen sensor changed. Mechanic said it is not a symptom of a bad purge valve as i have No Codes.

The Canister might be loading up with fuel since this uses ORVR (on board vapor recovery) and if the purge valve is not working right it can be sucking tons of fuel into the engine that won't light.
